Jesus Christ does Want to Heal you!

Roy Fowler

Greetings in the Powerful Name of Jesus!

I would like to invite you to read all of the teachings on this website. A "store" will be coming soon with books and commentaries and music CD's that I have done.  I want to assure you that if you are sick, Jesus Christ does want to heal you! In Matthew 8:3 where Jesus told the man with leprosy that he was WILLING to heal him, it was not a passive "I will", like "OK, I guess if I have to, I will." It instead was a stronger "I am always willing to, and I desire to and it is always my will to heal and I DELIGHT to heal people." Remeber the DEVIL is the one who makes people sick, not God. Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10 - NIV) The DEVIL is the one who steals and kills and destroys. JESUS is the One who heals!

Look at Acts 10:38-39: "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."
(NKJV) All sickness is an oppression or tyranny of the devil. Jesus healed all the sick that He ministered to by dealing with an oppression of the devil. Most Christians today are afraid to even say the name "devil". They hope he will leave them alone if they keep quiet and don't bother him. The he just keeps stealing and killing and destroying in their life until they feel like they are getting kicked around like a FOOTBALL. Get aggresive with the devil! You have authority over him and his demons if you are a Christian (Luke 10:19).

Remember also that if you are going to cast our a demon you can't be passive. If you say to your dog who is running out into the street and is going to get hit by a car, "Now honey won't you go home?" Then the dog will wag his tail and think you are happy with him. BUT if instead you step forward and say with authority, "GOOOOOO!!!", they will usually obey.

Jesus Christ is our HEALER, He is "Yahweh Rapha"! He is our GREAT PHYSICIAN! Trust Him today! And remember that "Jesus" in Hebrew is "Yashua". That means "Yah" (short for "Yahweh" is our personal salvation, healing, deliverance and prosperity. (This is also the meaning of the main word for salvation in the New Covenant which in Greek is "sozo".)

Finally, CALL UPON THE LORD! Calling on the Lord means to say something like, "OH JESUS! OH JESUS! HEAL ME NOW!

So don't give up! CALL UPON THE LORD for evryone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (and healed and delivered and prospered. Jesus WANTS TO heal you and He is always willing.

Matthew 8:16-17
"When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
'He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.'" (NIV) Say,  "OH JESUS!  - -OH JESUS! - - You took my infirmities and carried away my diseases and by your stripes I AM HEALED!"

JESUS IS LORD!

Healing Scripture

Psalms 23:3

"He restores my soul.." (NKJV)

When here it says "restores", that word in Hebrew is "shuwb" (Strongs OT:7725) and the most basic meaning is "repent" or "turn back to". It can also mean "to restore, to refresh, to repair (figurative)" and "to bring back" (Roy - bring back to health) (Brown Driver & Briggs Hebrew Lexicon). The idea of "repair" is also the basic meaning of "Rapha" (à "I am Yahweh who heals you" [Exo 15:26] - "Yahweh Rapha"). And here is the Strong's for "Rapha":

"Rapha" (Strongs OT:7495) rapha' (raw-faw'); or raphah (raw-faw'); a primitive root; properly, to mend (by stitching), i.e. (figuratively) to cure: KJV - cure, (cause to) heal, physician, repair, thoroughly, make whole. See OT:7503. (New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary)

The word "soul" in Psalm 23:3 is in Hebrew "nephesh" and here is the B.D.B. Lexicon's definition for it:

"Nephesh" (Strongs OT:5315) "a soul, self, life, a creature, a person, an appetite, a mind, a living being, a desire, an emotion, a passion". So "nephesh" can mean a person's whole life! Yahweh our Shepherd heals and restores us in our spirit, soul, mind, emotions, will, body, finances and relationships!

So here is my version of this Scripture:

Psalms 23:3

"(Yahweh my Shepherd) refreshes and restores and heals my soul and my self and my life. " (RFAV)
